Alison Taafe has cooked for American Presidents, European royalty, movie stars and captains of Industry as part of her culinary career across the continents. Alison is a Leading Vocational Teacher of Professional Cookery at Southbank Institute of Technology South Brisbane, Queensland and one of the few female members of Les Toques Blanches, an international organisation for leading chefs. Alison has a Diploma of Professional Cookery, Westminster Hotel School, London, UK and a Bachelor of Adult Education, Griffith University, Qld.
Even though I am a very experienced chef, I still look for fun, fast and fabulous ways of producing food at home for dinner parties without too much stress. I am continually searching for food and dishes that take the minimum effort to produce the maximum ‘wow’ factor.
